Principle Engineer - Electronics

Our client is a leading technical supplier to the automotive industry, and due to exceptional growth plans and current business requirements, they are looking to appoint a Principle Engineer - Electronicsas such we welcome applicant who meet the criteria below:
- Design and development of electronic circuitry (includes analogue, digital, microprocessor and power electronics)
- Electronic circuit simulation and analysis
- Specification and selection of electronic components
- Preparation of electronic schematics and associated PCB layouts
- Testing and evaluation of electronic components
- Validation of electronic systems
- Preparation of FMEAs and design validation documentation
- Preparation and monitoring of project plans You will need to educated to degree level in Electronics Engineering or similar with a minimum of 5 years industry experience in Electronics.
You must possess good attention to detail and have a practical approach to problem solving.
Must haves include: - Experience in analogue, digital, microprocessor circuit and power electronics design
- Use of CAD to produce electronic circuit schematics and PCB layout
- Good understanding of robust engineering practices such as FMEAs, Change Management, Design Reviews, etc
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols, particularly CAN
