Maintenance Technician

£30k - 35k per year + Up to £32,000
An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician with a major automotive first tier supplier based in the West Midlands. Working in a challenging but collaborative environment with a complex, technically innovative product for some of the largest and most successful automotive OEMs in the world.
As Maintenance Technician, the main objectives of the role are:
React to production call in case of breakdown in very quick manner.
Ensure TPM plans are followed and executed
Spare parts are ordered in time to avoid production stoppage or excessive machine down time.
Attend improvement meetings to ensure maximum up time machine
Ensure the maintenance shop is always tidy and safe to work
Ensure maintenance requests are dealt with in a prompt manner.
The ideal Maintenance Technician will have a sound education to ONC/NVQ level (or apprentice trained) in an electrical/mechanical environment. You will have experience of working in an automotive tier 1 or tier 2 supplier. Knowledge and experience in automated production lines is essential.
