We are recruiting for an Engineering Data Loader on an ongoing contract based in Peterborough.

This is a Technical Engineering Data Loader role based within the Technical Services team, who are primarily responsible for the releasing of technical drawing from the engineering function to the rest of the business. This team also hold the responsibility for standards and quality of this data. The Engineering Data Loader will work as part of a team of three Drawing Releasers along with Technical Services Line Manager.
As Engineering Data Loader, this role is integral to ensuring the accurate transfer of data from the internal engineering design system into the other bespoke systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain an introduction to technical drawings and visibility of the end point of the release process. The cross-skilling opportunities available will enhance the transferable skills of the successful candidate with the potential to develop and move into a technical career longer term.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Review of technical drawings to ensure accuracy and completion
* Management of shared inbox
* Extraction and analysis of data to transfer into local systems
* Analysis and comparison of image data with text data
* Adherence to standard work procedures and adaptation to new processes
* Act as steward to the standards library
Qualification, skills and experience required -
Essential:
* Competent PC skills
* Previous experience in a data entry role
* Ability to learn and navigate multiple bespoke internal systems
* Ability to interpret technical information
* Competent written communication skills

Desirable:
* Technical Engineering background is desirable either through work experience or educational qualification
* Prior experience working in an Engineering environment
* Experience reading technical / CAD drawings will be advantageous, though training can be provided
