key responsibilities will include:
- Support thcompanies Product Groups in their use and interpretation of legislation and external standards
- Maintain and improve internal tools for the assessment of legislative compliance and support the internal product sign-off process
- Take a leading responsibility in the development and negotiation of external products standards and legislation of strategic interest
- Identify priorities for and assist in the development and validation of internal standards
In addition to a strong engineering background and familiarity with product legislation, the ideal candidate will:
- Be educated to HNC/HND/Degree level in an associated engineering discipline (or equivalent career experience)
- Possess excellent organisational and business interface skills
- Have a desire for continuous improvement and focus on critical detail and accuracy
Product knowledge of commercial or earthmoving, materials handling or agricultural off-highway vehicles would also be desirable.
