Powertrain Controls Engineers are required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Whitley.

Job Requirements
Position Description:
4 x Powertrain Controls Engineers required to cover both OBD and Electrical System delivery. OBD Engineer(s) with proven experience in gasoline calibration, validation and certification activities for EU5 and Federal markets. Areas of expertise can include aftertreatment monitoring, breathing path control and engine/vehicle observer monitoring. System Engineer(s) with proven experience in design of control/diagnostic functions and vehicle integration. Calibration/Validation of EMS functions to vehicle/electrical/engine systems, CAN and safety system (dependability).
Skills Required:
Good working knowledge of either OBD to EU5/Federal (Gasoline) standards or EMS Systems. Good working knowledge on use of INCA, Matlab, Excel, Word, Project and Access. Good working knowledge of engine management systems.

Skills Preferred:
Working knowledge of the Bosch engine management system. Working knowledge of vehicle electrical systems.
Experience Required:
Successful delivery of OBD monitoring to EU5/Fed standard or EMS System control delivery to meet whole world requirements for a major OEM or supplier.
Education Required:
Ideally to engineering degree, although suitable experience will be considered.
