A Hybrid Calibration Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire.
Description
Position Description:
Reporting to Hybrid Calibration Lead, contributing to the development task planning and execution for delivering a hybrid powertrain capable of meeting engine out (and observing tailpipe) emissions engineering targets whilst meeting FE and NVH requirements.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
ETAS Inca Mathworks Model-based Calibration Toolbox. Strong understanding of Gasoline engine out emissions control. Appreciation of Designed Experiments and multi-parameter optimisation.
Experience Required:
Proven delivery experience in dyno and vehicle driveability development. Proven delivery experience in dyno and vehicle emissions development.
Details
Experience Preferred:
Experience of Bosch engine control strategy. Experience of Simulink and Control systems. Proficient in use of Excel. Presentation skills.
Education Required:
Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
Additional Information:
Time split between Gaydon and Whitley sites. (Dynos based at Whitley)
