The opportunity is for an experienced Senior Consultant, motivated to deliver great results and aspiring to make the next step to Managing Consultant.
role has 4 core elements:
- Delivering the project: Driving results and delivering the project plan on a day to day basis, guiding less experienced consultants working on the project, to achieve financial and other benefits and ensuring targets are met. You will later progress to project management.
- Managing change:Galvanising resource into action, coaching leaders in change management and coaching at all levels to adopt new behaviours.
- Training/coaching: Developing the clients internal capability, practices and disciplines, and coaching/educating client management team in the tools and techniques.
- Fostering relationships with key players within the client organisation, by building relationships with the client, acting as the key interface on the client site(s) and identifying repeat and new business opportunities.
Personal Requirements:
- Substantial experience as a manufacturing/operations improvement consultant with blue chip companies.
- External consultancy experience (a minimum of 2 years).
- Expertise in leading or facilitating successful CI/Lean projects.
- Expertise in specific WCM/Lean tools and techniques and developing and delivering bespoke solutions.
- A track record in team and project management
- Training and/or coaching expertise
- A degree and potentially a further qualification
- Flexibility to travel, internationally as well as within the UK
