An Advanced Chassis Systems Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in the West Midlands.
Description
Position Description:
Working as part of a small research team to deliver developments and technologies into advanced chassis systems (such as active suspension, torque vectoring, brake by wire, electric power assisted steering and active dampers) research for new vehicle programmes.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Knowledge of vehicle chassis systems and current developments. Experience of project management - able to lead delivery. Experience on the supplier side of component/systems engineering.
Skills Preferred:
Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink for modelling and rapid prototyping of vehicle controls. Knowledge of CARMAKER CAE package.

Experience Required:
Experience of development of advanced chassis systems delivery - either from supplier side or vehicle manufacturer.
Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and preferably Hybrid vehicle architectures.
Education Required:
Minimum of a first degree in Automotive/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
Additional Information:
Must have a full UK driving licence.
