EDS CAD Engineer

Client has been established as a specialist in the global automotive industry, both as a successful manufacturer of sports cars and as a leading engineering consultancy for vehicle manufacturers and suppliers.
Now recruiting for a Senior/Principle and a Junior Electrical Engineer.
These roles are based in the Norfolk area, close to the M11/A11 and is commutable from Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich and Newmarket.
These roles as a Design Engineer will include:(Leading for the Principle Engineer)
- Providing design schemes for complete vehicle electrical systems on conventional vehicles, hybrid and electric drive train packages in 2D and 3D CAD systems.
- Providing supportive analysis for such schemes and approving/directing detail design.
- Liaising with all LE groups, suppliers and clients.
- For more senior roles, supervising design engineers in order to meet programme objectives.
Personal Requirements:
- HND qualified, but preferably a mechanical / electrical degree.
- Significant automotive experience (or aerospace if not).
- Knowledge of Catia V5 and MS Office Suite.
