Position Description:

Release and Follow Up Analyst



Skills Required:

Tune base scheduling data to effectively support current Business requirements, and resulting schedules are issued to Suppliers on a timely basis. Optimisation of scheduling parameters within Material Planning Systems. Validation of schedules at key milestones on New Model Programs. Drive 100% delivery to MRD on New Model Programs through Supply Base. Responsibility for procurement of pre and volume requirements and run-out parts, including management of New Parts for New Model Programs, Model Year and Running Change requirements. Monitor / Control and Reporting of parts delivery in line with Schedule parameters - Time /Qty. CONT...
...Agree / Monitor and Control target stockholding levels. Generate and issue Supply Performance Metrics and interface with Suppliers to facilitate performance improvement and support of Purchasing in Supplier Nomination. Liaise with Supply Base to maintain supply in line with schedule requirements. Where necessary carry out / request stock checks to validate stock accuracy and make inventory adjustments to support results. Highlight issues with B.O.M. accuracy and raise AIMS with relevant department for resolution. Where issues identified with Inventory or BOM manually adjust schedule demand and request full Inventory reconciliation via the Inventory Team to ensure that Business is protected until issue is resolved. Responsible for management and disposal of obsolete material through web based stock management systems. Support and manage premium freight process and spend within budget. Support and manage processes for LLP. Liaise as required with Suppliers and all other functions (STA, Purchase etc) effectively to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
Experience Required:

Knowledge of Supply Chain Management / Development. Management of Supply Chain Solutions. Good working knowledge of Material Planning and Logistics, preferably from within Motor Manufacturing or Supply Base Industry. Understanding of Motor Manufacturing production methods.



Education Required:

Must be PC Literate with a good working knowledge of all MS Office applications. Educated to Degree standard desirable, or equivalent business related experience.
