The Junior Account Manager is a key role within the Sales and Marketing department, providing support to the Account Managers on specific accounts and general support to the Sales Team. This position is a great opportunity to gain experience within a challenging sales environment, with ample opportunity for career progression for the right candidate.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Junior Account Manager will interface with internal departments within the Heavy Duty Business, Delphi Powertrain Europe and Delphi on a global basis as well as working closely with a range of OE customers.
Manage the samples order process from receiving customer orders; managing the samples order book and updating on a regular basis; attending regular internal samples meetings and liaising with Account Managers and customer contacts to ensure customer satisfaction, managing the resolution of customer overdue payment issues, including identifying and resolving root cause issues with customer contacts, maintaining appropriate customer filing system in conjunction with Account Management team and working with Account Managers to track and report on sales performance versus forecast and revisions to customer forecasts. In addition you will provide direct support to Account Managers and also provide the Sales and Marketing team with direct support and take ownership of Sales and Marketing presentation material. You will also prepare, plan and implement customer and media demonstrations and general exhibitions programme, monitor filing and housekeeping of the quality system within the department and manage your own workload and priorities within a demanding working environment.
You must have a degree in Business Studies, Marketing, Engineering or similar discipline, a flexible, energetic and proactive approach, excellent organisation, communication, influencing and team working skills and the ability to assimilate information, plan ahead and communicate in a professional and effective manner.
