A Project Manager - Chassis/braking systemsr is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire.
Description
Position Description:
A Project Manager - Chassis/braking systems leader responsible for delivery of chassis suspension or braking system and components to GPDS gateway requirements. Lead the design teams to develop and deliver the braking system targets on time and budget. Report system delivery status at senior level project reviews. Manage vehicle build support- BOM, design, release, parts procurement, component change. Maintain active control of project prototype expenditure and D&D budget. Champion resolution of suspension and braking system issues.

Skills Required:
Significant project management skills leadership. Demonstrate influencing skills, self motivation, ability to delivery with minimum supervision in a pressure environment. Able to communicate confidently at all levels within the business and the supply base.
Details
Experience Required:
Experience of delivering complex programmes involving mechanical and hydraulic systems. Understanding of Chassis and Braking systems combined with a working knowledge of OEM engineering disciplines (GPDS, DVP, FMEA) and delivery systems (eFDVS, WERS, AIMS, GPDS, APQP etc.) would be an advantage. Good PC skills and must be IT literate.
Education Required:
Educated to Degree level in a relevant discipline.
