Our client designs and manufactures aerostructures for both the civil and military aerospace markets. They are currently seeking a Lead Engineer/ Technologist
Essential Responsibilities :
The role is to support the research, development and application of decision support technologies including reasoning, anomaly modelling, prediction, optimisation and virtual sensing. The role involves joining an expanding team of technologists, whose aim is to use these techniques, combining them with expert domain knowledge, to extract value from large and complex data sets from around the GE businesses, majoring on aircraft data.
Qualifications/Requirements :
Advanced data-analysis for decision support
Algorithm design, prototyping and validation System architecting.
Research, design and development of in-house analysis tools.
Interdisciplinary communication to forge connections with diverse domain specialists.
Desired Characteristics :
MSc or PhD in science, computing, engineering or equivalent level of knowledge or experience.
Experience of artificial intelligence, Bayesian models, neural networks, graphical models, statistics.
Software experience including OO (e.g. MATLAB, C, C++, Java, .NET)

Interest in developing leadership skills
