Senior Specialist Engineer Power Electronics Design

A leading supplier to the global aerospace industry. Its products and services support every major civil and military aerospace programme in the western world, from helicopters to the latest generation of commercial and military jets.
The main aspect to this role is the design (circuitry) and development of electric motor drive products and systems for power/distribution projects.
The designs will be created from concept, tested, analysed and then data collated for presentation to the firm. The products will then be tested again to verify circuit performance using RSS, Monte Carlo among others. There will be a certain amount of bespoke component design also.
The background of the person must be from Aerospace or Automotive, experience of DC-DC conversion, EMC and knowledge of CAD (DX, DOORS, Saber).
Additionally this role requires and element of solving clients problems and offering alternatives in relation to work schedules, cost and design.
This is a permanent role and an immediate start paying a salary of up to 43,000 per annum plus benefits.
