Design Engineer

A world leader in complete, advanced technology propeller systems, our clients all composite bladed, electronically controlled propeller systems have been selected for over 80% of the major turboprop aircraft in the last 10 years, and they are working with internationally renowned aircraft manufacturers on many key programmes. They are currently seeking a design engineer
Essential skills are Catia V5/QSL and DSE and a working knowledge of Pro Eng.
Must be able to be pro active and work on their own initiative.
Working as part of a team, often deployed to multidisciplinary projects, ensuring product integrity as the highest priority.
Prepare design schemes and detail drawings through the Design Review process, working in conjunction with other technical departments, manufacturing, suppliers and, the customer.
Design estimates and bid preparation.
Technically liaise with current and new project participants, supply base and other sub-contract organisations and individuals.
