Application Engineer required for the first automotive supplier to offer its customers a range of electric superchargers. Unlike exhaust-driven turbochargers, electric superchargers are driven by an electric motor. This Basildon based company are looking for an enthusiastic Engineer with recent relevant industrial experience and experience in mechanical design in automotive applications with knowledge of Requirement Engineering tools e.g. DOORS.

Responsibilities include:
First level support to the customer regarding all questions regarding component integration.
Testing and measurement of system parameters.
Application of adjustable system parameters to achieve optimal system performance.
Presentation of system performance to customer and management.
Mindset of continuous improvement.

Experience of working to a structured product development methodology in the Automotive (or similar) sector would be ideal.
