FEA Development Engineer - Contract and Perm roles- Automotive - Kent - £Rate/Salary Neg

FEA Development Engineers 1 x Contract (Maternity Cover) and 1 x Permanent position for a world leader in the design and manufacture of diesel fuel injection equipment to analyse new pumps and components as a hydraulic system and do FEA on various components and assemblies.

The successful candidates must hold an engineering degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or physics or hold a Master or PhD in a relevant subject.

You will be involved in the FEA analysis of Diesel Common Rail (CR) Fuel Pumps and possibly other pump related components as required.
Design and detailing of components for new generation CR fuel pumps that provide innovative concepts that promote competitive advantage in performance, cost and quality.
Provide competitive analysis and bench marking of competitors components for stress, hydraulic function etc.

Must have proven experience in design and/or development with an understanding and experience in the application of simulation tools to solving engineering problems.
FEA analysis experience in ANSYS or equivalent FEA system.
High pressure pump and or fuel systems experience would be preferred.

Both these positions involve travel for training, working with customers and problem resolution on projects as necessary therefore you must be able and willing to travel for short periods.
