Exciting Project Engineering opportunity with great development potential working from a state-of-the-art facility on blow moulding and system assembly, producing products which include fuel tanks, expansion tanks, and air ducts for Just-In-Time supply to key global OEM"s.

Key duties include:
1.To control all aspects of Project Engineering through to completion, including the introduction of projects into production, in line with the Company"s AQP System.
2.To provide design feasibility through the use of CAD, as well as conceptual costings, machine and tooling specifications, and co-ordinate development trials (which may require attendance outside normal working hours).
3.To be able to relate the concept of Design-For-Manufacture into each project and process, considering Health and Safety and Quality aspects as well as production efficiency.
4.To control each project to its individual Quality, Cost and Timing objectives, and be able to work in and co-ordinate teams to achieve this.
5.To communicate effectively with customers, suppliers and internal personnel both at senior and shop floor level.
6.To be capable of dealing with technical enquiries in respect of both new and existing business, including the peripheral development of sales opportunities which may arise.
7.To keep abreast of current developments relative to the production processes used and be able to innovate improvements to present production methods.
8.To carry out your work safely in the interests of other employees and yourself, in compliance with current legislation and KUL Environmental, Health and Safety procedures.

It is expected that the successful candidate will be educatd to HND standard or above and offer proven experience within Automotive Engineering, with Project Managfement experience desired also. You must be comfortable in fast paced and quality focussed environments and be conversant with ISO 9001/2 and RG2000. CAD proficiency desired.
