Are you a skilled LEAN IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER looking to deliver change. This is an exciting, challenging and demanding position that provides an opportunity for a professional Lean Engineer to fulfill their ambitions and deliver improvements in a vibrant manufacturing company. This role is based within the Re-Engineering Department with the aim of developing Lean thinking across the business, focusing on the Product Assembly areas. The challenges will include changing current work practices, introducing change, leading multi functional teams in practical problem solving activities and delivering CAPEX projects.
The main purpose of the role is to reduce the total cost of product assembly through the introduction of lean thinking including Flexible Assembly Concepts, VSM, Kaizen, 5s and Line balancing. You will be qualified to at least HND level in an Engineering discipline, holding a recognised lean qualification and used to spending the majority of your time on the shop floor driving change.
The location is commutable from Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington and the surrounding areas.
