Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer – Precision Manufacturing – £30 -£35k– Sheffield
Do you have a proven track record in the generation, development and finalisation of sales leads and possess a good understanding of machining processes, CNC machine tool technology and commercial issues?
A Technical Sales Engineer is required by my client, a leading manufacturing company established for over 50 years, specialising in precision machined components to a wide range of metal manufacturing companies across a variety of engineering sectors, including Oil and Gas, Power
Generation and Aerospace.
This is an exciting role with opportunities to;
- Develop key relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities increasing customer awareness, sales and technical support
- Capture new business in strategically agreed market sectors.
- Manage the preparation of successful high-value proposals and estimates for customers
- Develop relationships with decision-makers in customer and target organisations ensuring strong partnerships are achieved
- Be able to communicate to all levels including board level as well as detailing product specifications
Candidates should be comfortable reading Engineering drawings and will have a Mechanical Engineering qualification or will have served a technical apprenticeship.
