Measurement Technician - Metrology - Automotive - Kent - £Neg
Measurement Technician who has served a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship is required for this leading automotive company based in Kent.
Must have thorough knowledge of measuring techniques and be familiar with Geometry and Surface Finish Technology.
An awareness of British and International Standards associated with Metrology is desired.
The roles main duties will be drawn from the following:
-For the calibration of all gauging and maintenance of gauge records. To verify tools, gauges and components to Engineering Drawings. To analyse results and report on findings.
-For the writing of programs for Metrology measuring equipment to enable the acquisition and recording of data related to both bought in and in-house manufactured components.
Applicants should be fully conversant with the generation of programs for measuring equipment in a Metrology environment, particularly CMM machines
